Feedback Day

Feedback is an issue that means quite a lot to me. I LOVE it when I get feedback, I get so emotional and giddy over all of it. I don't think in podfic fandom there is enough of it. I have lots to say, but ... one thing at a time.

Fan artists love feedback and podficcers are no different. Feedback can motivate us, inspire our muse and help us create more of out art. However feedback on podfic can be rather light. To find out how you can help increase feedback for podfic check out pod_aware on LJ or DW

Podcast! With me! We recorded this twice. The first one was about 4 hours long, but we found out afterwards that the data didn't record. The second one the next day went much better and we managed to stay on topic and not devolve into discussions of childhood haircuts. I haven't listened to the podcast as I feel way too self-conscious, even if I sound stupid, I'm sure the content is interesting.
EDIT: some people are having trouble with downloading the podcast, here's an alternative link.

In the podcast, I know that we brought up (don't know if it made it into the finished recording) podklb's fantastic meta post about podfic feedback. Regardless, it's a great post and I have made a recording of it.

Thank you for reading to me!

Thank so much! After I got over the technical details, I had SO much fun recording this piece. It's really amazing to me that this is still useful and entertaining! I'm glad you felt I managed to retain my personality while reading, even though it was meta. My face now ----> :D!
Thanks so much for listening and commenting!

So I just read and listened to this, and now I have an idea of what I want to say. I have so many comments to leave for your Sid/Geno and Mark/Edwardo podfic.

(You totally ruined me, the last few weeks or so I've been reading a lot of Sid/Geno fic (so much catching up) and when there is a really good scene in my head I am wondering how you would capture the moment with your voice.)

This was excellent, KT. You are one of my favorite podficcers, and even listening to you reading non-fanfic makes me happy. :D
